What even is "All Poets Aloud"???

...a multimedia poetry anthology featuring written and spoken word poets
from North Florida. Each poem appears in print and is paired with a QR
code linking to a recorded video of the poet performing their work. By
uniting page and voice, the anthology preserves regional poetic expression,
honors oral storytelling traditions, and increases accessibility to poetry
for diverse audiences.

The project serves as both a cultural archive and a living art experience—
centering local voices, fostering creative visibility, and documenting North
Florida’s contemporary poetic landscape for future generations.

why this project

Poetry often lives in one space or the other—on the page or on the stage.
This anthology refuses that divide. It preserves voice, cadence, breath,
and presence alongside the written word, creating a permanent and
accessible record of North Florida’s poetic landscape.

Project Mission

To amplify and preserve the voices of North Florida poets by creating an
inclusive anthology that honors both written and spoken word traditions.
Through print and recorded performance, the project increases access
to poetry, celebrates regional creativity, and documents contemporary
poetic expression as a living cultural record.

Poets must live in or have a strong connection to N. Florida
Open to emerging and established poets
Spoken word, page poetry, and hybrid work encouraged
